Good, solid home cooking. Great breakfast! The home fries are cooked fresh and are the best for miles. Surprisingly good homemade soup. Nothing fancy, just good food. A fixture in Redford.

Friendly atmosphere. Went for breakfast. Fried potatoes with peppers and onions were delicious. They dropped the ball on my bacon though, some pieces were undercooked. And I ordered cheese for my scrambled eggs which I didn't get.

I love Murphy's. They are our go to breakfast place. The service is always great and so is the food.

I can eat here everyday....my favorite is the corn beef omelette with hash browns and country gravy on top....so good

Very disappointing. We have been frequenting Murphy's for many many years and never had a bad meal. I ordered Irish Sausage and got burnt regular sausage. My hashbrowns were not cooked through either. The waitresses are the only good thing there!

Big portions, family feel, great corned beef sliders.

One of the best food tasting experiences in my life for sure. Expect lots of unexpected flavors and decorations!

Been going here my whole life! Thanks for the great memories and comforting food. Great breakfasts, friendly staff and their veggie burger(homemade) is delicious. Highly reccomended for a metro detroit greasy spoon.

I feel ashamed for living so close for as many years as I have now and NOT eating here. Came upon this neighborhood gem by chance and was not disappointed. Incredible breakfast and the sliders are to die for. So happy I found out about this place, even better I found it by chance and get to be the man for recommending it to everyone I know! Win win.

Visited because the reviews were great, ran into an old friend, met the owner, and was amazed at how delicious a standard eggs/hash browns/sausage breakfast could be. Definitely coming back. Offering gluten-free toast sets this place apart, too.

Did not even realize that the place was even really around the corner. The service was better than expected and the food was a pleasant surprise as well. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick bite of coney fare.

I've been looking for a good breakfast place because mine closed. We ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs. The gravy was real sausage gravy and so yummy. Great service as well. They even ran my food out for me so I wouldn't have to drag my kids inside during this pandemic. Definitely recommend.

By far the best place around. We drive out of our way to come to Murphy's. My family has been coming here for years and I love introducing new people to this little gem and finding out this is their now go-to-spot. The staff are all very friendly and very hard working. The food is amazing. Love this place and will continue to come here with my kids (when I have some).

Absolutely great food and service. We just moved down the street and found our new favorite breakfast dinner.

I personally just haven't had good experiences. I have dined and got take out multiple times and theres always an issue. This last time really bothered me. I spent 30 bucks. I got cold mozzarella sticks, not even like warm, just cold. I got a burger I wanted meduim rare that was burnt. I got fries that again, cold not even like warm. I waited on that order for 5 minutes there plus the 20 I wanted in my house before even going there. I'd rather have waited another 25 and gotten a good meal worth 30 then food that would have been better at McDonald's. Maybe I just don't go the right time, I'm not sure. This is the 5th time now that something has been very poorly made so I don't think I'll go back, but at least the staff is friendly.

WOW first time here and I will be coming back. Cozy diner with a stool counter. Simple breakfast, sandwiches, coneys, etc. But it's all done right. Had the murphys omelette, mushrooms, green pepper, onions, tomatoes, hame and cheese, potatoes, added chili cause I love chili sauce. Produce tasted fresh tomatoes were fresh cut overall very nice not over cooked. The service from the second I walked in was great. Great rapport with the staff and customers all over the resturant alot of repeat long term customers. Definatly coming back cant wait to try the sliders and coneys.

My husband and I have been going there for years. Everyone there is kind and efficient. The food is great! They even have Gluten Free bread, which makes the best French toast! If you’re looking for a good place to eat, this one of the best in Redford! Truly a gem!
